Mr. Gonzalez Rubio possesses over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry in both the U.S. and Mexico. He joined the company in 1990 and worked in sales and trading, was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2000, and was elected to his current position in 2009. At IPG, he is responsible for managing the overall operations of the company including trading room operations, sales and marketing, and finance. Mr. Gonzalez Rubio received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudio Superiores in Guadalajara, Mexico. He has served as a member of several advisory boards in San Diego and Mexico, and currently serves on the advisory boards of Guadalajara World Trade Center and Optima Automotriz in Mexico as well as Interwest in California. He is also honorary vice-consul for the Panama Consulate.
Alberto Benrey Boguslavsky, COO, CEO of IPG Investment Advisors
Mr. Benrey joined IPG in 1999. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry in sales and management positions in the U.S. and Mexico including seven years as manager at Discount Bank and Trust Company in Mexico City. Prior to that, he was founder/owner at Orofac Factoraje Financiero for four years in Mexico City. At IPG, his major responsibilities have been in the areas of the private client group and international operations. In 2011, he was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Broker Dealer and he is also the Chief Executive Officer of IPG Investment Advisors LLC . He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of San Diego, and his MBA from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
Alfonso Aldrete Haas, CEO of IPC (Investment Placement Commodities)
Mr. Aldrete has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry in both the U.S. and Mexico. He joined IPG in 1996 occupying various positions and becoming a partner in 2006. Currently he is responsible for client portfolio management and general securities principal; he is also the Chief Executive Officer of Investment Placement Commodities a sister company and a NFA registered Introducing Commodities and Futures Broker. Prior to joining IPG, he served as Northwest Regional Director of Specialized Business Credit at Grupo Financiero Serfin in Sonora, Mexico, and as commercial director of Serfin Leasing in Mexico City. Mr. Aldrete has also served on advisory boards of various financial institutions. Currently, he is a member of Mexico’s Northwest Advisory Board of Nacional Financiera. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Centro de Ensenanza Tecnica y Superior (CETYS) in Mexicali.
